Dr. Laurence Senn is an infectious diseases specialist with expertise in infection control. She conducted her training in the Service of Infectious Diseases and the Service of Hospital Preventive Medicine of the University Hospital of Lausanne, Switzerland, where she is now responsible of the Infection Prevention and Control Unit. She is a member of the Swiss National Center for Infection Prevention (www.swissnoso.ch). Her research interests are the epidemiology and control of multi-drug resistant bacteria in the hospital setting and antibiotic stewardship.
